At 8:08 p.m., firefighters responded to a home in the 5500 block of Riverwood Lane, where a carbon monoxide alarm was sounding. It was determined it was a false alarm.
Saturday, April 26
Firefighters were called to a report of a car fire on Country Road 42 at 3:17 p.m. They were cancelled while they were on their way as there was no fire.
Sunday, April 27
A home in the 9200 block of 134th Street had an activated fire alarm at 3:33 p.m. Firefighters were cancelled when homeowners verified smoke from burnt food was causing the alarm to go off.
At 4:30 p.m. residents in the 4100 block of Egan Drive reported the smell of something burning and smoke coming from a heating vent. After investigating the home, firefighters were unable to find anything.
