Volunteers from the Carver Scott Humane Society will have a pet adoption Saturday, May 17 from noon to 3 p.m. at Petco, located off of Singletree Lane, between Prairie Center Drive and Hwy. 212 in Eden Prairie. CSHS is without its own building and all pets are housed in foster care.
Dogs 11 weeks to nine years will be there. Some of the dogs include: Shih Tzu, setter, pointer, husky mix, shepherd mix, pointer, Chihuahua, Rottweiler mix, retriever mix, Lhasa Apso, and Heinz 57 mixes.
Ferrets, two rabbits, 11+ kittens, and 33 cats, ages 19 weeks to 8 years-old will be available. There will be Persian, solids, tabby, bi-colored, calico, tuxedo, torties, and four declawed cats to choose from.
All cats and dogs have been micro ID implanted, vet checked, wormed, had shots updated, checked for friendly temperaments, and age appropriately spayed/neutered. Adoption fees are $115+ for cats and $175+ for dogs.
