Three area students were awarded scholarships to attend Minnesota State University, Mankato.

Brittany Swanberg, of Savage earned a $1,000 Maverick Scholarship. Stephani Gonyou and Cutler Steidel, both of Prior Lake, earned a $3,000 and $2,000 scholarship, respectively.
