A community celebration for retiring M.W. Savage Elementary Principal Ron Cin will be at 4:15 p.m. Thursday, May 29 at the school, which is located at 4819 W. 126th St.

The entire community, including, current and former parents, students, staff, and community members are invited to join in celebrating Cin’s retirement.

Cin has worked in District 191 since 1986. During his career, he has held a variety of positions. He began his teaching career in 1967 as a sixth-grade teacher at Osseo Elementary. At Montevideo he taught sixth grade for two years before becoming an educational specialist. From 1974 to 1986 Cin served as an elementary principal in Montevideo and he was also a director of summer school programs.
