A “Wine From the Garden” workshop is scheduled for Thursday, June 5 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Scott County Historical Society, 235 Fuller St. S., Shakopee.
Local homemade wine maker, Clarence Johnson, will share his knowledge, tips and tricks behind the mystery of homemade wine making. Learn out how to create unique flavorful wine from tomatoes, watermelon, carrots, pears, and even rhubarb. A representative from Midwest Homebrewing and Winemaking Supplies will demonstrate the materials needed to turn your produce into sweet tasting libations.
A Q and A will follow, giving you an opportunity to pick Clarence’s brain about the ins-and-outs of wine making.
