On Wednesday, I made a discovery that made my week! Driving down 42 I saw the sign for the new Sonic opening up. I have had Sonic before in Arkansas and loved it and I have seen the commericals on TV for a long time and have been talking about going on a Sonic vacation. Which would entail driving to Iowa and eating at a Sonic a couple of times and coming home. A reason for a road trip and get some Sonic :) Well with gas prices (and my husbands eyes rolling) I threw that idea out the window. I was absolutely thrilled and still am that a Sonic is opening up in my own city.... I also tried to talk my teenage daughter into getting a job there, from which I got another eye roll... Imagine my excitement when it opens!
