Now the Savage City Council wants to make sure those lights on signs don’t get too bright and voted last month to update the city ordinance to regulate the new technology. But doing so took a year, as the city imposed a moratorium on signs that display animation or electronically changing images and messages in April of last year. Environmental Learning Center logo to be unveiledApril 30, 2008 - 3:06pm — Nancy HuddlestonThe city of Savage will unveil a logo for the future McColl Pond Environmental Learning Center on Monday, May 5 at the start of the regular City Council meeting, which begins at 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at Savage City Hall, 6000 McColl Drive. The logo was voluntarily designed by Savage resident and artist Greg Preslicka of Preslicka Studios. Preslicka also designed Savage’s official logo, which was adopted by the City Council in 2000. |
