Savage has jumped on the Google bandwagon.
That bandwagon is being driven by SCALE (Scott County Association for Leadership and Efficiency) and Scott County, which are ramping up efforts to convince Google that they ought to be a test community for high-speed broadband network.

Getting graduates to return to the schools they grew up attending is one thing. Getting them to do it on their own free will is another.
But, that’s just what 2005 Burnsville High School graduate Brad Fendler is doing. And quite happily.
The Savage City Council will hold a special meeting at 7:15 a.m. Monday, March 22 to address anticipated flooding from the spring thaw.
The City Council will be asked to pass a resolution declaring a state of emergency. The action is a proactive step necessary to ensure that the city will be eligible for aid or assistance from other jurisdictions – including state and federal agencies – should a full flood response be necessary. A number of other municipalities throughout the state have passed similar resolutions in anticipation of flooding in their communities.
They're in PDF format, so you'll need Adobe Acrobat Reader to open them.
